- Built expertise in federal legislation on health, aging and family caregiving
- Supported implementation of the RAISE Family Caregiver Act and Supporting Grandparents Raising Grandchildren SGRG Act.
- Disseminated post-implementation evaluation to assist the federal government in designing programs that improve the health and well-being of older adults.
- Served as a grant reviewer for Administration for Community Living.
- Facilitated stakeholder engagement and public input in policy decisions across federal agencies and advocacy organizations

- Collaborated with Minnesota Board on Aging leadership to support state caregiver initiatives.
- Organized statewide virtual conference on regulatory framework for assisted living in Minnesota.
